Roker End... 😉

They don't have to. They'll be involved in the rest of the display. It's the rest of the stadium that we'd like to see swinging scarves and bringing colour to the pre match build up.
For this to take off, they'd need to put scarfs in every seat unfortunately. Our supporters are great, but they aren't into pre-organised displays or word of mouth plans.

We've made the decision to give it a go mate. Details for that will be posted on Saturday night (to avoid confusing the masses).
Great news fella!Hope it goes alright and we should try to convince the club to provide a few stewards or youth team to help as it will cost them very little and be good PR!

I get where you're coming from with this, but my biggest hope is just that we can get up, get some enthusiasm and hope back, the lads doing the displays can get some changes made post season, and maybe we can start to get more volunteers for them. Getting the club involved makes sense, but equally it really should be a fully fan led and delivered thing. Really sad state of affairs that we currently can't get more than a handful to help out. Hopefully it'll change though, the displays always look canny

The displays look great! and well worth the bother ...... hope they are were waving in the championship next season!

We are sceptical about asking the club for help. It then becomes a club thing. Retaining independence is important I think.

If the club wanted to do this, they could.

Hopefully we get to a point we have the cash flow and volunteer numbers to be able to put things out on every seats.

We need to create some momentum first.

Couldn't agree more. I'll take my scarf along.

In favour of something but I'd just as soon not because it feels like were copying not just any old club but you know who, the last thing we should be doing.

Don't think we're copying the mags at all tbf, obviously they've got a lot of flag displays etc at present, but I'm pretty sure the old Haway the Flags group were around well before "Wor Flags" got off the ground. Apologies if you mean the scarves thing, but it also isn't something I associate with the mags tbh. They've obviously got a lot more buy in from the fans due to the optimism at their club, but I think it's right that we try and do what we can, it definitely isn't copying as far as I can tell

As you’ve said, Haway the flags was around long before WorFlags was a twinkle.

There’s plenty clubs been doing displays anyway. Rangers, Aberdeen, Celtic, Palace etc etc

We used to get help from kids who were going to play at half time, or maybe it was the young uns who wave the flags when the players come on the pitch.
