RLODC - Durham 2022

Unrelated to Durham obviously but Surrey lost to Buckinghamshire today by 4 wickets. Virdi: 4 overs, 0-34 at an economy rate of 8.50

Durham 25/1 to win the competition. Only two teams at a bigger price.
I haven't looked close enough at what players all the other counties are loosing. I know some are getting hammered but I think that is a very decent price. I expect Durham to be very competitive, we are hopeless at T20 but generally competitive in the 50 overs.

Unfortunately I don’t. We’re a shadow of the team that got to last years final unfortunately, I expect we’ll have a decent chance at progressing beyond the group stage - but it’ll be a huge ask to do any better than that.

I don't expect us to be favourites but looking at the way the Irish bookmaker has priced it up they think we will finish in the bottom 2 of our group nevermind qualify for the knockout stages. I think there is some value in our price.

It’s certainly better than bet365’s price (16/1).

Might have a ton on it 🥴

Looking at Surrey's squad for their opening match tomorrow there is only really Ryan Patel and Tom Lawes who have played much first XI cricket this season. They have even dug up Mat Dunn from somewhere he feels like he plays one match a season for the past ten years.

When I spoke to Graham Clark the other week he hinted that his brother might play? Guess we'll have to wait and see

BBC have an article on the 50 over trophy, not much of an article but one nevertheless

WHED in not a meltdown post shocker!
😂

I was just glad I slept in as we were going to have a drive down, though going to Grantham for the game in 10 days or so time. Best get the rubbish result out the way in a friendly, as I always say "it's a results business" and the time to deliver starts on Thursday in competition format.

Would be nice if we knew how Bedingham was, but such is the shite communication from the club, we'll have to try and find out by "word of mouth" on Thursday most likely.

Would be nice of Lees is available for a few games, he would add much needed strength to the side as would Dickson and obviously Bendingham.

Very much looking forward to Thursday
