RLB win % compared with previous managers

Lies, damn lies and statistics !
That Lee Johnson and Jack Ross is ahead of him shows the value of such comparisons
Awful lot of people at the time wanted both Coleman and Moyes to be given another year
Absolutely nobody wanted Moyes to be given another second never mind another year!
Coleman was a completely different situation given the state of the club when he took over and the takeover

Re Moyes
Oh but they did
If you can go back and check the archives on here you will see plenty of fiery debate on the issue. Out on the streets he still had his adherents who blamed short and Bain rather than him
I wanted him gone before Xmas. The decision on Mvila alone absolutely bewildered me

Haven't bothered to go back but wasn't Dangermouse a very strong advocate of M🤣yes?

Absolutely everyone I know personally (and that has a strong interest in SAFC) wanted Moyes gone as soon as he threw the towel in before the season had even started.

I’d say all the circle I moved and move in felt the same, I am just saying there was a significant number wanted him to be given more time
I’m being objective
I detested the man but many didnt

Perhaps unsurprisingly given their Everton connections but him and Stubbs cut from exactly the same cloth. Defeatist tossers that didn't really want to be here.

Its pointless to compare managers records when they were managing in league one v Premier league.

The fact that Lee Johnson/David Brent has the best record shows that

RLB is the best manager we have had since Reid - my own opinion is that Reid was a good manager who hit lucky with Quinn/ Phillips.

RLB has a lot more about him (IMO) as well as an elite owner/ recruitment team so we have the right to be optimistic that the insane upwards trajectory we have had can be sustained

I loved the Reid years - brilliant. But like said above, prob got a bit lucky with Quinn/Phillips. RLB, is different gravy though. I think our best certainly in the modern era. Very much Wenger #2. I think he’s absolutely perfect for how modern footy in the EPL is now. And Granit agrees - so anyone who doesn’t agree with me can fuck off! 😂

I genuinely can't remember anyone wanting Moyes to stay.

Coleman did have a few people thinking he should be given a chance to turn it around in L1 because they blamed the higher ups on our season.

Win percentage is an unreliable measure of performance imo.

Points per game at least gives credit for draws.

Anyway, far easier to win in the lower leagues- see Lee Johnson for example.

To be fair both are useless here when it's not the same league.

Completely useless stat and the sort of drivel that Johnson would come up with.
