RLB will be gone before next season

Yeah, they can stand upfront and only hope to put in a shift as much as Brobbey has. You could have Haaland in this side and he would find it hard to score. Haway man
It’s the whole forward line. It’s been like that all season. We have been lucky in quite a few games. Even the first game, without looking to check, we probably scored all of our shots on target. We’ve been great at the back, but really poor going forward. I don’t think it is entirely Le Bris’ fault, more to do with lack of quality up top. The majority of our squad are fairly slow, another reason we look poor going forward.
Brobbey needs someone up top with him and to keep on his feet a bit more. For a big lad he goes on his backside quite a lot. He’s nee weeble.

It’s not the coach’s fault we lost to a side that you say we should have beaten without a coach on the sidelines?

How does that work then?
My obvious point is that our much more expensive players should have taken responsibility against League two-bound Port Vale. Sorry if you can't work that out for yourself.

I agree, but a decent striker won't solve it. As you say, someone up with Brobbey would help loads but no one plays with two up top "nowadays". We play with wingers/forwards who you'd hope get the service in. We haven't really had that and getting that right is hard as fuck.

I wouldn't say no to a worldie of a striker either mind, but the way we are set up, it really wouldn't matter.

28 page thread!

RESULT @brisbanemackem !!

Personally, I've spent more minutes than I should have, trawling through this topic, but have to say that it's provided me with a few laughs! some of the responses have challenged my continence capacity!! (tears running down me legs!🤣🤣🤣)

Now, back to the basket weaving for me!!

Talks in riddles about connections
dynamics and experiences reminiscent of Cantona and the seagulls

Any manager worth his salt would have put a rocket up them at half time but we have been papering over the cracks for a long time.

Lets face it we got lucky in the play offs, lucky at Wembley and Xhaka has been acting as de,-facto manager on and off the pitch.

Without him we are rudderless and will probably splutter our way to safety.

Ghisolfi brought in a number of quality players who dont need a great deal of " management" and yet RLB still insists on Hume in the hybrid role.

KLD has to much invested to fail and Ghisolfi will be working on a manager to take us to the next level.

Nice guy but he has to go in the name of progress.
He got us promoted and has ket us in yhe Prem. What more do you want?

It was a terrible result and performance but at the end of the day it was a one off meaningless game, we were never going to win the FA cup. The players need to take responsibility for the result as the team put out should have been good enough to win. Hopefully if anything it spurs the players on to have a good result against Brighton and push on as much as we can in the league.

We all know that our attack needs strengthened in the summer so lets not get too emotional over it, stay positive and look forward to next year in the Premier League.
Im one for never blaming the pitch ....but the performance was so bad that im convinced those soft prem players were to busy protecting their ankles to put a shift in for the club! its 90% the players fault and 10% brissies!....Anybody asking for RLB to be replaces is a clown of the highest order.
