RLB Press Conference today

Probably like most of you I have watched most if not all of RLB press conferences this season. The man now and how he carries and expresses himself from that of the beginning of the season is hugely impressive. You can see he is far more comfortable and is exceptionally good in how he cleverly answers most questions. You can’t fail to see how dedicated he is and the genuine pride he has in being our Head Coach. You can see he is a massively deep thinker of the game and his level of detail in how he approaches each game is an absolute credit to him. I suppose when you look at the question about us over performing one way of getting it into some context would be, our target was to get to 40 points, we currently sit on 48 so even if we lost our last two games, he, the team the club have over performed the clubs target by an an additional 20% which is an exceptional performance in what is a brutally difficult league that takes no prisoners. RLB won’t win PL Coach of the season but to be actually nominated is a huge achievement and richly deserved.

Agree 100%. He’s so intelligent and dignified. A cross between Wenger and Bobby Robson.

How do you think visiting the Hill Dickinson will be different to last time?

What’s your opinions on spygate?

Will you be including Dan Neil and Anthony Patterson in the squad?
What did he say about this?
To be honest it’s about the only football story I’m now interested in.

I don't think I've watched one. Certainly not live or a whole one 😂

I'm interested on the injury front but the rest is fairly mundane.

No new injury concerns

Traore back this weekend, didn't make last weeks squad as a precautionary as trajectory was different to the other injured players making a return
Don’t see the sense in bringing back Traore given his age and contract status
Our chance of Europe is infinitesimally small
Nows the time the younger players like Talbi, Rigg, Angulo should be getting more minutes
Outstanding head coach I am not trading him in if we go through a tough spell next season
We hung around with both Reid and Moyes until it was too late
Of course he deserves to keep going but if eg we lose our first 6 games, his job would have to come under scrutiny

He is like most modern managers and TBF most questions are ‘ Dorothy dixers’ and his answers are pre prepared.

Top 10 would be a great achievment so that's the aim now. Gotta win last 2 to do it so can see Regis using all available players. After next weekend can reflect on where that gets us. Personally I'd play Rigg anyway as he offers more going forward than Hume but Le Bris is a top coach so gonna trust him for Everton. And also what about Geertruida? Isidor? Cirkin? All leaving...maybe even Sadiki.
