RLB post game

No way Seelt is ahead of 09 for me. However, cannot see Hjelde or Alese starting a game.

The club have written off Mepham and his main failing is lack of pace - eg in playoff final. Suggests they have one or two speed merchants in mind.
Forgot about Mepham, he back at Bournemouth I presume, not heard any rumours

Given Aleskic and AA take up 2 seats on the bench and our lack of attacking options, I’d imagine they still want Guiu + 2 more across the front 3

we are missing O’Nien at the back I think. He plays a pivotal role in the build up to our attacks.
Right - time for an honest conversation

I love the lad, but there’s not a chance in hell that he will be anywhere near our best XI next season

Him bringing it out was in the championship, this season is a totally different level of football

Patto, O9, Dan Neil etc all deserve great thanks from us for getting us up but they aren’t good enough for the PL

Mepham was miles better than O9 and he’s not good enough either

It’s brutal but true

Until I’m proved wrong I won’t be convinced otherwise. He’s made the step up at every level in whatever position he’s been thrown in. I certainly wouldn’t put it past him.

Lovely that you have such faith but he’s not even close to being good enough

He’s 31 soon, where do you think this absolute leap of improvement will come from

Honestly man, not a chance in hell

Seelt was always going on loan. Theres no scenario where he is good enough to play Premier League at this stage of his career.

Probably correct. Love all those lads for their hard work and never say die attitude. The new lads are blessed with greater talent, hopefully they leave it all out there too.

Have to be dispassionate if we are to have a hope of surviving.
