Haha I wrote my Simpsons comment above yours having not actually read this week's strip except for seeing the Reggie panel posted in this thread, so I didn't know there was literally a Simpsons joke in panel 2.

He's not even in the same stratosphere as Stewart Lee, in style and in my opinion substance.

That wasn’t my point though. It’s more that he’s not a cartoonist in the Beano sense (in this comparison, McIntyre) but more someone who often has a more surreal take (ergo, Lee). I’m in no way saying Squires is Stewart Lee!
