RIP Ricky Hatton

I was so sad by this earlier he was and still is the only boxer i ever followed, I still remember after the floyd fight, I went to shop at 6 am their refused me ale as no license till 8... So at 8 i went back down their again.

Met him in pattaya 6 years ago, what a humble, nice natured bloke !! . . had time for everyone. A Genuinely funny fella and completely down to earth, Hope your at peace now ricky

There has never been a British boxer that had the fans behind him like Ricky, and there never will be.
There's only one Ricky Hatton.

I think that Mayweather fight is probably the last time I ever stayed up for a fight.

Box office. The scenes and support in Vegas looked incredible. Alas, it wasn't to be and Mayweather played it beautifully.

RIP Ricky.

So sad a brilliant boxer and he was a man of the people

Apparently he'd tried to take his own life several times as he suffered from depression

RIP
