Durham Cricket are saddened to announce the passing of club scorer Paul Summerside.

Paul joined Durham Cricket as women’s scorer in 2013 and scored for our women’s side until 2024. He continued as a pathway scorer and regularly scored across the age groups.

Paul also spent a year as Second XI analyst during the 2023 season.

All at Durham Cricket would like to send our condolences to Paul’s family and friends at this sad time.
 

Very sad news, great bloke who I had a lot of time for. Played with his sons and he scored many a game I was involved in. Huge shock. RIP Paul
