Very sad news though I think he had rather better values than Manchester United, I mean putting his sense of values next to Jim Ratcliffe, it's just insulting.

I dont follow much footy outside safc so i have not heard of him but he sounds like a great fella and took to his battle against that awful disease like a giant among men..RIP Joe my thoughts are with your family and friends at this difficult time ..
 
Simon Ramsden is doing a 37 hour training session for Joe Thompson, just been on Sky Sports News and ex players are getting involed
