When I was a kid, it was good, harmless comedy sketches with him and Supersonic Syd making fools of each other. Some great memories and respect to them for toiling away for years in the northern club circuit before grabbing their one chance. Big City fan as well so at least he lived to see them come good.

tbh when i heard he's died my first thought was of seeing him at blackpool as well when i was a nipper. always on at either the winter gardens or the central pier.

he was in hospital for heart failure apparently. Was tested positive for covid 19 whilst in. How that means he died of coronary beats me. I gather many other deaths are being recorded in this way. Mental imo.

Death certificates usually have a primary source of death and any contributory factors. The details on the death certificate are down to the doctor who certifies the death.

I realise that mate, just think it's his dodgy heart that killed him, not covid 19. May well have been the final nail, but he was dying anyway.
