That double shower thing is a bit saucy isn’t it?

On a more general note, property seems extremely expensive as compared to even the expensive bits of the UK - is this true? Or is it you just show us the stunning and therefore expensive ones?

Double shower heads are very popular here generally, as an observation shower 'cubicles' seem to be more popular in the UK, whereas here they prefer walk in showers with a simple frameless shower screen, so more room to have 2 shower heads.

property here is mega expensive across the board but the major cities and towns are very expensive, even at entry level.

I normally like houses that most hate and I even liked the old Civic building but theres very few things I'd keep from that. Also the biggest bedroom has the window in the wrong place, surely with that view it would be better to have a window at the back and not the side? The size of the windows are impressive though so hope for whoever buys them that they are in great condition as id hate to see the bill for those.

The energy rating is pretty poor though typical of an older house so likely to be expensive to heat. It probably needs quite a few upgrades to windows and insulation and maybe central heating. A lot of flat roofing too which would make me nervous. At the time of building it probably was seen as very attractive and fashionable, unfortunately now it just looks dated and not in an attractive way (imho).

Offerton is canny but half a million to buy then a canny wedge to bring it up to date. Would I rip features out, no, I wouldn’t buy it.

If they ever made an Endeavour (young morse) style tv series along the lines of Young Vera they could use it. I could imagine Bob n Thelma popping round there for a Fondue night anarl with all the badminton crowd.
