Lovely house underneath the hideousness.
Still can't get away with baths in bedrooms, especially on carpeted floor.

I was thinking the same thing. I think so many of the homes listed here have been ‘concept’ or themed homes, part of me thinks it has been carefully done to look dated. In reality it has probably been the pride of some old dear who has moved on.

I kind of like the look, I'd keep a lot of features and add in a few modern touches. Kind of done a similar thing in my UK house, I have a 1960's room, where everything in there except the decorating and radiators (Don't stand out) are all from the 60's, the living room has a similar theme from the 1930's.
