Riggy

Have you thought that maybe RLB was actually protecting Rigg when he subbed him against Forest? There was no way back from 0-4 at half time, and it was obvious that the crowd atmosphere was not going to be very positive in the second half.

Maybe he thought he didn't want Rigg to be part of the crowd backlash, as it would not have been helpful to his development.

It's only been two games since then, and in both games RLB has decided to play Hume to supplement what had become a leaky defence, with 9 conceded in two games. The formation changed and there was no room to play Rigg. If he'd come on against Wolves or Man Utd it would have required a change of formation, and RLB wouldn't want to do that with both games in the balance, especially the way the midfield played so well against United.
It was quality tbf considering the situation

Its best thing for him to be taken out of a side when we’ve been walloped imo
feel free to have a different opinion but Regis knars

Shame we haven’t had a proper RW option fit without Traore I think we would’ve ended up top 6 otherwise

He's a central midfielder with Le Fee and Sadiki ahead of him..its shite because he had a few good games and I think hes gonna be even better next season...

Mind, him over Hume you wouldve thought.

We want a squad that is deep enough to rotate players and when we rotate players for whatever reason (usually tactical) they have "lost their place" or been "scapegoated". Rigg has a great future but he's only a kid and is not as defensively aware as the more experienced players.

With the club aiming to sign 4 maybe 5 players in the summer, there must be more than a fair chance that the lad will go out on loan. If so a top Championship club or even one of the relegated clubs could be on the cards.

Has looked out of his depth but his recent run in the side he looked really good. Managed pretty well by RLB. With Diarra on the bench & the return to fitness of the wingers I m not sure where his minutes come from in the next 2. I m not a fan of Hume in the position he is playing as offensively he’s wank. He’s a fullback and I get the argument why he’s played where he is but maybe it’s a role Rigg could fill as Hume does spend time in CM and essential Rigg will be a CM at some point.

Riggy Riggy Riggy,
can’t you see?
Sometimes you skills just hypnotise me,
But keep check on your flashy ways,
Guess that’s why Trai in, and you’re underplayed
