I don't know the youngsters too well but is there any going who we'd regret?

Shame H Jones was on the bench so much and couldn't get a prem appearance, but that's football.

I'd extend Traoré, he looked promising before his injury, but reckon we'll favour Ta Bi for next season, and would love to see us keep Geertruida, too, if the deal works. He's been great when given a chance, and seems really close with the team, a good connection.

Dan Cameron is a surprise release, the others mostly affected by injury. Struk has really not got going here

Finn and Neill i'd be excited by for the future

Really hopefully for Geragusian. The international cap is a little misleading I reckon, given it's Armenia, but he looks really promising. Hope we handle him well next season.

Hopefully Finn announced in the summer his first pro contract

Hopefully get rid of quite a few that have been here for a while like they did in January, Ba needs a new club, can't not be playing football at his age

I hope we give Traore another year if his fitness is looking good. He was very effective imo and it’ll be useful to have an experienced winger along with the younger lads.
I thought Traore and Gertruida both did solo laps applauding and waving to the crowd to say goodbye. I don't see Traore playing much if he stays, behind Talbi and Angulo and we've also got Mundle and Ta Bi to play on the wings (and Diarra, Rigg and le Fee have spent time there) . I wouldn't be surprised if we signed another winger as well as none of them are setting the world alight.

H Jones and Johnson might be on the retained list so the club can protect itself and value on players. Both 1 year contracts but sold for a fee is interesting

Said it many times that it looks like a young promising 21s team next season if everyone signs their contracts.
Cant see any of the older 21s like Timur, Johnson, Trey or Jenson Jones being around the 21s, they'll surely all want 1st team football now most of them have experienced it.

Definitely agree on this.
Probably more that go altogether but they will actively need moving on rather than just being out of contract.
Agree also. Think a lot more than the 14 on the list above will be leaving. Most of them need to really the good of their careers i think

The list could be broken down into six categories. Thus :-

Academy Graduates
1 Patterson
2 Neil
3 Rigg - Under 21
4 Young - Under 21
5 Jones H (?)

If Neil is willing to serve in this capacity then Jones could be transferred, loaned or released

Home Grown
1 Ballard
2 O'Nein
3 Cirkin
4 Mundle
Moore - Register as player, but not included in 25 player squad

If alternative home-grown eligible players are signed, then Cirkin and Mundle could be allowed to leave

Overseas
1 Roefs
2 Alderete
3 Reinildo
4 Mukiele
5 Hume
6 Diarra
7 Sadiki
8 Le Fee
9 Xhaka
10 Talbi
11 Brobbey
12 Isidor
13 Angolo
14 Geertruida - Sign
15 Traore - Take up option ?
Mayenda - Under 21 (?)
Ellborg - send on loan
Ta Bi - send on loan

The key exercise is signing Geertruida and making a decision on whether to retain Traore. If Patterson and Young are to be included in the squad, then Ellborg would be surplus to immediate requirements. Similarly, if Traore is to be retained, Ta Bi may not be needed. If any of the players leave, then it frees up a space for another overseas player.

Retain in squad if eligible for Under 21 status
Abdullahi
Johnson
Jones Ja
Jones Je
Ogunsuyi
Tutierov
Alecsic - send on loan

Under-21 squad
Metcalf
Cowan
Allen
Bell
Kindon
Lenz
Robertson
Bowman
Forsyth
Walter
Proctor
Burns
Brown
Leinard
Shakespeare
Matadeen

Sell/Loan/Pay up contract/Release
Pembele
Seelt
Hjelde
Masuaku
Browne
Alese
Adingra
Rusyn
Ba
Semedo
Huggins
Cameron
Richardson
Struk
Bell
Waters
Bainbridge
Lavery
Moore

As ever, getting rid of the likes of Pembele, Ba, Semedo and Rusyn could be problematic, Similarly, Alese, Seelt, Hjelde and Masuaku (not sure when his contract expires). Browne and Adingra are likely to find clubs willing to sign them.

There are also 9 x 2nd year scholars that have been offered a pro deal by the sounds of it and also Jack whitaker who has been offered a new pro deal so would be 10 more for 21s if they all sign.
