As much as I think it’s fantastic how well we have done if I were a betting man then I would have favoured much of what those mags were saying, which makes it just taste that bit sweeter.

This is my personal favourite, living and working in Whitley bay I mainly associate with mags and was met with hilarity when we signed him, one last pay day, legs gone, why would arsenal and leverkusen sell him etc…. Same people now saying he’s the signing of the season out of every team and without him we get relegated 🤷‍♂️
