Monster is a really underrated album

Used to be a busker in the subway next to peterlee coledge circa 1994, sounded like Micheal Stipe.

Fab band like, most of my first memories of supporting SAFC are of getting in my mates car somewhere near Roker park, putting the heaters on and listening to REM on the way home.

I think it just came out when people were probably a bit sick of them tbh.
They were all over the radio & MTV beforehand.
And it sounded nothing like their two previously massive commercial successes.

It also literally sounds like nothing else they ever recorded.
Even as a huge fan some of their stuff is kind of samey.
That track is unique.
Not sure it even sounds like anyone else either.
