Relegation odds

Midfield
Had a look on oddschecker .... Sunderland 9-4 fourth favourites to go down .... only 3 promoted teams shorter odds ... and Mags 40 -1 ..... really ???? ...... insulting that !! ... yes European fixtures to cope with but thats a joke.

Mags will do a lot better in the league next season with no Europe to deal with during the week.
What? When they lose Tonali, Hall, Gordon etc and bring in more Elanga’s and Wissas?

Let’s remember everyone turned them down when they had champions league footie to offer. Now they’re mid table mediocrity with murderers for owners (who are all but murdering their club)

Don’t be so sure they won’t do worse than they have this season. They’ve had one game a week for months and been worse…

I saw posted in another forum that Spurs were 40/1 and Man City 14/1

Howd they work that out. Even with Pep going, Spurs have finished 17th for the last 2 years

Our summer business needs to be spot on.at least as good as last year, or it’s going to be tough.

Provided we keep the vast majority of this squad we dont need to sign quite as many players as we did last year!

What will make our break our season next year is finding a goalscorer

it's not really surprising. the 'lesser' teams in Europe tend to struggle domestically given they don't have the outrageous squads the elite have

how many times do you see teams basically limp to defeat on a Sunday after playing in Europe on the Thursday night

our recruitment needs to be very good as we're not going to be able to keep playing the same team week in week out as we do currently. otherwise it'll be injuries and burn out. add in so called second season syndrome with the additional fixtures and you have the odds

Did their results improve after being knocked out this season?
Nah but wuh was sooopa tired afta wor yeeerrroo excorzions or something

I get travelling to 4 games is a bit more taxing than not, but realistically it’s only 7 more games over a season as we miss the 1st round of league cup.
Progress and it might get trickier naturally but January window can be used if needed. Trying to be positive about it. Waited forever for it so not dampening me spirits yet

Typical but didn't they say the same last season?

I don’t mind that, keep us below the radar. It is insulting though, very much a Southern bias.

🤫 we don't have to worry about a thing 😉

It’s likely they will, but you never know… maybe they won’t

They’ve had no midweek game since mid-March and since then have only picked up 7 points out of a possible 24

Gordon, Tonali, Livramento and Hall all leaving over the summer. I don’t think the Saudis will give Eddie another £200m to completely fuck it up again. It’s going to be a grim transfer window for them
