Looked a little shaky at first but was back to his usual self the longer the game went on, can't be many better defenders to have when defending a tight lead late on.
 
He was lucky their pen was overruled as he not only went down so easy, grabbed the ball but then stood shouting at the linesman while they took the free kick.

He is underrated though. A solid player
 
Such a good player, wins plenty fouls (got lucky with one today with the overturned penalty like) and carries the ball really well

Won't pretend to watch loads of La Liga but surprised much wasn't made of the signing at the time, he'd been a pretty big fixture in a strong Atletico side
 
Had a daft 5mins when they got that penalty like. Lucky to win a really soft free kick when he shouldn’t have went down, tried again minutes later, got caught out & decided to argue with the linesman when the match continued behind him.

The less said about his throw ins the better anarl 😂

Overall, a fantastic signing. Were a much better side with him in it.
