Regis le Bris - confirmed

It’s a really strange one, we were excellent in the first part of the season and he deserves a lot of credit for that. The drop off has been horrendous, there are some mitigations with injuries and having nothing to play for, but it’s been appalling. Not just a few bad results, performances have been shocking, don’t look like scoring a goal even.

Also he has massive form for this in his only other job so there have to be big questions if we don’t pick up for the play offs.

Proper sausage ye like. Some gold worthy comments early on in this thread
Oh dear oh dear.

Look which comment aged better.
Stand by it and there were loads more who thought the same.

None of that was known at the time or in the lead up to him being appointed

There's some strange weirdos on here trawling historic posts for likes.

Like you happy to have been proven wrong, but standby by being underwhelmed at the time.
We’ve been proven right.

Tactically we've been utter shite for weeks. Zero game management and his substitutions all year have been nearly as bad as our set pieces. The squad looks disjointed and unhappy. Time to go.

5 defeats in a row as it stands; if we have a poor play offs, do you replace him or stick with him? Genuinely interested to see what the general consensus is on here
Replace him, 1 trick pony hasn't learned from his stubborness to change at Lorient it seems.

Staying would just prolong the inevitable, what’s the point? Just move on.
I can get that point of view. However there were enough positives from the start of the season though for me to think he deserves another chance.

He has to change though. And not just from the pedestrian style he's had us playing over the last few months but even things from when we were doing well need to change, e.g. much better game and squad management.

I also personally think that any Head Coach is handicapped by the overall setup we have at the club and the profile of the majority of signings we make.

Get rid get a new manager in something abit different and suprising for the play offs. Even earlier in the season when we were winning we were a poor watch masked by the results and great individual goals getting him out of trouble

He isn’t going to change that though. What over the last few months think that he’s going to suddenly change his approach? It’s everything the lorient fans said about him.

Keep repeating this but Lorient didn’t want to pay him off and we’d exhausted our list of option. Fortunately his agent is connected to people at the club…
