He didn’t get their highest ever finish, that was 7th in 09/10. They also finished higher than Le Bris took them another twice - 8th in both 12/13 and 13/14.

I think compensation will be minimal if anything at all.
He had been asking to be released from his contract for quite some time.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they come to an agreement that suited everyone without any fees.
They had just been relegated and it was clear there was no going back.
They saved themselves the cost of sacking him.

Exactly. I was responding to someone who said they hadn’t seen people making stuff up so I listed a few examples of “facts” people have used in his defence.

Only record he broke was the fewest number of points they recorded in a top flight season.

How do you know what KLD will or won't pay 🤷‍♂️ there hasn't been a lot of common sense used over the last 12 months by the owner tbf. It could be that he panicked what with the players due back today, nobody has the first clue.

I think you're looking too deeply into a random bloke's posts on an Internet message board mate.

At the time I didn't think there was any way we'd pay compensation for a Head Coach because of what had happened in the past. It wasn't bullshit or anything like that. It was an opinion.

If that has turned out to be wrong and we've paid compensation then great, I was wrong in the assumption I'd previously made. 🤷‍♂️

The whole reason that post got dragged up for was because I'd asked for examples where in this thread I'd posted "bullshit" or to prove I was a "fantasist". In no way does me saying we won't pay compensation for a Head Coach prove that. If anything of proves I know fuck all which is what I've been saying all along!

There's no "negatively agenda" here. We should all be behind le Bris and I hope he does well. That doesn't mean we should stop critically analysing how the hierarchy goes about things though.

Therein lies the problem with some of our fanbase.
Nobody knows how the hierarchy goes about things.
They play their cards very close to their chest. Anyone who thinks they know what the inner workings of the club recruitment process is genuinely just making shit up.

All them things are probably true, but I still think we should be hopeful when a new manager is appointed. Especially one we basically know nothing about.
