Paid compo for a manager who has just relegated his previous club. He must think it's Christmas everyday. I'd wager it was very likely he was about to be released of his duties anyhow.
TBH though, I'll reserve my judgement of him until I see how the team plays and the results he gets.
The fact Speakman has said he is aligned with the clubs vision for squad development tells me he's very likely to be a yes man, who won't rock the boat about player recruitment, unlike previous coaches.

I think it's more in which the way you post if I'm being honest. If you'd said "I really can't see us paying compo for a manager", then fair enough, but you state it as if it's a fact.

They mean you are definitively saying safc will not pay compo
I totally understand why many posters didn't expect us to pay compo, because Neil, Mowbray and Beale were all “free”.
