Regis le Bris - confirmed

He wasnt anyones first choice, but let's just support the bloke and hope he exceeds expectations. Fingers crossed the owners spend some money and start earning back the trust they lost last season. Play offs is not a realistic task with the current squad, so funds will be required to add some experience and quality.

I am aloud to have an opinion having supported the lads since the 70’s. I seen alot and this is still a dark period for Sunderland and if you think we are going in the right direction you are clearly in the minority. If you read between the lines the board and journalists you might have a different read on things. Bringing in a yes man from the French leagues with no experience is a big gamble. The root of the problem is KLD and Speakman that is not going away. This club needs experience and you have to pay for it not just develop it. Most likely a mixer. We will see who is sold and brought in this summer transfer window. Alot work to turn this club into a strong PL squad & it takes capital not pennies.

Please tell me how you know he's a 'yes man'.

I think the same as Mowbray and less than beale. In that his football is the right style.

He's basically a foreign version of Mowbray with less experience of being the main man.

We will sell jobe for a huge profit wither this summer or next imo
Wiil it then be said "what a greatwheeler and dealer Speakman is"?
That's if he still here.

The yes man thing is ridiculous

Explain how he's a yes man please

It’s the standard line people use when they want to try and strengthen their argument that it’s a shit appointment.

With absolutely stacks of evidence to back it up, obviously.

I always thought we were undermanned in coaching. I can see Dodds getting some kind of player development role.
Honestly…..unless Bellingham was more luck than judgement that would make sense.

I wonder if he was in the right place at the right time, but the two brothers obviously really like and respect him.
