Regis le Bris - confirmed

I am aloud to have an opinion having supported the lads since the 70’s. I seen alot and this is still a dark period for Sunderland and if you think we are going in the right direction you are clearly in the minority. If you read between the lines the board and journalists you might have a different read on things. Bringing in a yes man from the French leagues with no experience is a big gamble. The root of the problem is KLD and Speakman that is not going away. This club needs experience and you have to pay for it not just develop it. Most likely a mixer. We will see who is sold and brought in this summer transfer window. Alot work to turn this club into a strong PL squad & it takes capital not pennies.

the leicester and ipswich managers had no championship experience. Yes a dark period but its been on going since 2016 its not like we're in new waters at present in that respect. Positivity drew! we're here now and we need to get behind big reg and see where we end up into next season, still plenty of the summer left for incomings nobody knows where we'll be squad wise at the season opener

And might lay to rest the "can't bring in his own staff" theory.
Makes you wonder where Dodds & Proctor will fit in.

Four first team coaches (or five if the Italian goalkeeping coach is also staying) plus the German sports psychologist.

That’s some increase

I always thought we were undermanned in coaching. I can see Dodds getting some kind of player development role.

GIVE THE LAD A CHANCE. A three year contract means we have him like or not. It will cost a fortune to get rid. I don't buy into the shite of speaking French, he speaks English as well. Lets see how we do on transfers and stuff before we make any decisions.

Probably showing the new lads about first few weeks then pushed into background once they’ve settled in

i've been supporting the lads since the 70's too. If you think this period is dark, you must have drank way more than me

Everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions but once something like this is done it is little use in trying to point out negative views. Even if we got the most experienced Championship manager there is no guarantee he would be successful. We can only hope the club have unearthed an unknown gem. Having said that, you are talking of no experience and yet he was on Leeds shortlist not that long ago. Some people are definitely seeing something in him.

As always, I give a chance, you seem very bitter. Such is life, let's see what transpires. I would rather back a boss than dismiss him off before a ball is kicked. Most candidates for a management role are dodgy. I am a Sunderland fan and I think our current owner wants success. He is funding a large gap in income, which many fans seem to dismiss. How many of you would be prepared to fund millions, on a bet that we can get to the Premiership?

I'm sorry but your opinion means very little by labelling him a 'yes man'
You haven't got a clue if he is or he isn't.
