Where are his goals going to come from though? We dropped like a stone when he was injured (partly due to Dodds being pathetic)- but we were still over reliant on him under Mowbray.
I think Clarke papered over a lot of cracks last season.

You'll never get promoted with that attitude as second best will always be good enough.
He 100% should be getting judged on getting promotion and if it's a player problem then Speakman should be getting the criticism but that doesn't change that.
The performance last season after the last 10 games was of one that would've got relegated. We were absolutely turfid and got progressively worse.
Anything below play offs is a complete failure.
The run in where they played
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 11th, 12th and then bottom of the league. Nice run in tbf
They started to pick up. The 6 games before that list I said they had 13/18 points then had a very difficult run in and got relegated by one goal

As I said above they picked up towards the end and started to fight. Until they played every top team in the league.
And Amad often papered over them the season before.

Is it genuine enthusiasm for le Bris or are people mostly just relieved it’s over?
Speakmans comments stating that we're going for an improvement from the season where we finished in the play offs. He said it that's on him. You can't now backtrack on it because he can't do good signings
If he fails, then Speakman and whole backroom team needs to follow suit. They've had long enough now and clearly aren't the answer going forward.
