Regis le Bris - confirmed

Oh that’s a great reason, they just felt like it.

Beale has a better CV than this bloke mind. He’s gonna get my full support just like Beale did

Kind of what you’re supposed to do you know? Support. Clue is in the name.

Cheers
Well what the fuck do you want me to say man? You're asking me why random people on this board said something, how the fuck am I meant to know? You want me to go and interview everyone for you?

Beale's done fuck all to be proud of as a head coach - he's hated everywhere he's ever been. Regis has been relagted in 50% of his seasons as a head coach. On the face of it, picking one over the other is damning with feint praise

Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman added: “We are delighted to have attracted someone of Régis’ calibre to Sunderland. He is a talented coach, who is thoughtful and detailed in his approach and values strong relationships with players and staff. He is aligned with delivering our playing identity and he shares our ambition to win, as well as our passion for talent development. We are excited by the new ideas Régis will bring to Sunderland and look forward to supporting him in his new role.”

It's just word soup isn't it ? Utterly meaningless twaddle. It's bollocks.

Then they should not have mentioned achieving the second highest
Just out of interest, if we had have appointed Rafa Benitez do you think they should have mentioned him getting Newcastle relegated if they mentioned that he won’t the Champions League?

They’re obviously going to mention highlights in the article, not lowlights.

Genuinely never thought this saga would end with us appointing someone who has just taken his side down after finishing the season in worse form than Mike Dodds.
Give the
No idea, I am on the fence about it.
Give the lad a chance !, my god what a miserable set of supporters we are , yep ,it's been a farce !, but do you really think the owners want us to fail ! , it'll cost them money !, they are not that stupid for god sake !

You read all of that article and laugh at Speakmans comments over KLD 🤦

I got told on Monday that he was “definitely our new manager” which suggest it was all done then, these things usually take at least a couple of weeks from approach to being done, so I would say we have definitely been speaking to him from when Still fell through at the latest, if not even before that.
We've been speaking to him since we were speaking to Still.

Not convinced mind, but have to give him a chance

Good luck Reggie, you will need it working for those clowns.

He's going to need some proper experienced players brought in.

Not sure he should be ambitious about what he’ll achieve. If the club were in a position to be ambitious we would have appointed a manager before reaching him on the list
Who to say we weren’t more ambitious but couldn’t get the man we wanted?

If people aren't abit disappointed you've got to be the ultimate happy clapper 😂

Might aswell of appointed Super Kev at that point.

Would absolutely love him to prove me wrong but couldn't be much of a less inspiring choice/name after 4 months.
