Regis le Bris - confirmed

I think you can compare the two, the point he’s making is some managers work out at some clubs while others don’t.

Roy Keane is similar - popular here but unpopular at Ipswich.

Simon Grayson is similar - unpopular here but popular at Preston.

And so was Moyes prior to West Ham - unpopular here and at Man U but popular at Everton.

The point is that some managers just fit at certain clubs with a squad of players available - the board believe this man is that for us. They got it wrong with Beale, but right with Neil & Mowbray. I’m prepared to give him a chance and not take much note of Lorient fans.
Sure let's give him a chance, but I'm not convinced. Moyes was successful at Everton and West Ham, but wasn't popular at any of his clubs. Depends if you want success or popularity

How do I not have evidence? The lorient fans have said about the egos and you can see by the players in to out and how they performed that they weren’t replaced

Replaced them with players not good enough and didn’t spend the money wisely. Shown by those players performances
So nothing concrete there was dressing room upheaval as you suggested, and again the amount spent on new players wasn't as small as people like to make out. And you're saying the player performances were poor and that had nothing to do with the manager?

Or just KLD taking more interest into the club and now he wants it to be.

Guess work.

Guesswork.

I'll take the clubs word that they are learning from their mistakes of last season.
It’s usually not seen as a good sign when an owner starts getting involved in footballing decisions.

I give up trying to reason with you because I’m yet to hear a positive word ever said

No, I haven't. As pointed out earlier, I'm actually doing some research.

Perhaps the club would have been wise to do the same as opposed to, in what I'm sure is a coincidence, landing on a manager at the last minute who just so happens to be part of the same agency that several of our recent signings are, after stumbling around for over 4 months, being turned down by several targets and making a mess of yet another managerial recruitment process.
And a manager that lorients owner was desperate to get rid of , along with their fans .
Someone they wanted to sack but had to haggle over severence pay

The Moyes example I’m talking about is when West Ham were set to appoint him and would have looked at our and Man U opinions - similar to Lorient opinions for this lad.

But, yes. He needs to be given a chance. Bringing his staff with him too if reports are to be believed so we clearly have more faith in him than Beale.

So you’d rather hope he’s bad for a bit of balance?
Not what I'm saying. It's the pile on to anyone who gives a bit of clarity on what happened last season, and gives a balanced argument against the view there was dressing room upheaval, or they didn't spend much, or they didn't do this or that.
He hasn’t. He’s just looked at transfer fees.
He has to be fair, so we'll have to agree to disagree.

I totally get that. We are doing things differently and KLD is young enough to learn to be a more hands on owner.

I doubt the Brighton or Brentford owners just leave everything to their football men to run the show. They'll look at the data and make changes accordingly.

Just listened to the French football expert on BBC Newcastle last night, talking about Le Bris.

“Training ground coach, lots of experience coaching youth teams, not much managerial experience, made a mess of it when given more influence in recruitment, fans of last club not keen on him after disaster last year”.

Is it me, or does this bloke seem to be describing the French Michael Beale?
