Regis le Bris - confirmed

Yeah we know. You've already wrote him off before he's been appointed. This place man.

No, I haven't. As pointed out earlier, I'm actually doing some research.

Perhaps the club would have been wise to do the same as opposed to, in what I'm sure is a coincidence, landing on a manager at the last minute who just so happens to be part of the same agency that several of our recent signings are, after stumbling around for over 4 months, being turned down by several targets and making a mess of yet another managerial recruitment process.

Because you can only be so shit at your job for so long before you end up out of work.
KLD will have no cards left to play if this goes tits up.

I don't think he's been shit. He's don't a lot of good overhauling the squad from where it was when he arrived. He's mainly stopped the talent from the academy leaving while getting them back to winning.

He's made mistakes, but appears to be working to a budget that doesn't give him all the luxurious others in the league have.

To be fair to @The Situation he's given a reasoned argument and actually had a proper look into what happened over the course of last season. Can't see anywhere that he's wrote him off?
Equally people look for evidence their option is right one way or the other just some are more determined than others to be proved right. He may well be but people need to back him till we know otherwise and stop being mood hoovers.

If KLD is making appointments over his head then it’s probably the end of him anyway.

Or just KLD taking more interest into the club and now he wants it to be.
Well he wont have the tools here either mind

Guess work.
It's a good job he's joining a club renowned for providing the tools to improve then....

ah....

Guesswork.

I'll take the clubs word that they are learning from their mistakes of last season.

You're assuming on dressing room issues, and replacing players etc and don't have any evidence of that if you're honest

He'll not have been able to understand Dan Neil or Patto anyway so a smile will do :D
How do I not have evidence? The lorient fans have said about the egos and you can see by the players in to out and how they performed that they weren’t replaced
To be fair to Lorient, they brought in €37m from the sale of strikers and CB's and spent €25m on replacing those positions alone last summer.

They didn't pocket the money and leave him with an impossible job on his hands in which relegation was all but inevitable, which is the way most are seeing it.
Replaced them with players not good enough and didn’t spend the money wisely. Shown by those players performances

Bang on

They’re a bunch of clowns. Hopefully the idiots have struck incredibly lucky in RLB as none of this was well managed or thought out.

It would be great to read some positive evidence. Can someone please share it? I'm really trying to find it. The vast majority I find is negatives.

Aye mate I'm sure you've done more research than those appointing him.

It's just to counter the blind enthusiasm which I think is just because we've got a manager in rather than actually who it is.

We can talk, speculate all we want, but the proof will be in the results.

I did not want Mowbray at all and thought it was a terrible appointment, despite it kind of making sense (experienced, track record with younger players etc)

Let's give this fellow a chance. He either works or he doesn't.

I'm genuinely excited by this appointment, an up and coming coach rather than someone on the managerial merry go round circuit.
It's been said already but his recent relegation didn't stop one of the biggest clubs in the world, Bayern Munich, from appointing Kompany.
Such a pointless equivalency. Everyone has questioned this, after they equally were turned down by previous options. Burnley were expected to get relgated as opposed to lorient. If Kompany wasn't the player he was or managed by pep, there is not a chance in hell he would be anywhere near the bayern job. But everyone is owing to find another pep from his understudies

Even better to see some evidence. Being honest I don’t believe you are trying to see it at all. It’s like a depression ward on here at times.

You really think they’ve done no research before going for him?

Your post is based on pure guesswork.
