It has already been proved months ago that Fabrizio takes money for posts. In addition to that, where does it say that Dodds won't be part of the coaching staff?

He was pretty crap most of the season before from what I can see. Had an unbelievable start and then been poor ever since.
 
So. This blokes name was never mentioned despite being on list of names since March. He's being allowed to bring his own staff and we're paying compensation for him. That means he he hasn't come cheap and doesn't sound like a yes man. He yet might turn out to be shite. However, one thing is for sure, they have appointed someone who is the exact opposite to what the majority of people on here said they would appoint.

Christ. The bit about new staff is obviously good news and is being discussed as such, people can be happy about that and still think it has been a pisstake. Just comes across like a bit of a patronising wally

I mean 8th to 14th is the definition of mid table. The fact still finished behind le bris in 22/23 is irrelevant because he finished way, way ahead of him in 23/24

Still lost his best players too. They lost ekitike and two of his centre mids.

If he’s got issues with players being sold he’s coming to the wrong club too because he’s likely about to lose a few of his best players here too.

10th for Lorient is a massive overachievement. They are a team always around the bottom of the first league or top of the second league

That’s an extremely long post to completely miss the point mind. :lol:

At no point did I imply Dodds wouldn’t be part of the coaching staff. We’ve had people whinge on for months about how the current coaching set up is why we’ve not been able to bring anyone (despite it being widely reported Still had agreed to come).

The fact we’re making changes just highlights it was bollocks.

He didn’t say it did.

Just that the chat on here was “stuck with Dodds” as in he had to be the number 2. Dodds was always likely to stay, but I’m not sure why people thought he must be the number 2. Or that no coaches were allowed to be brought with the main man

He might well be number 2 of course - I don’t know - but it’s all conjecture
