Yet to be seen. I liked Mowbray’s tenure but did worry about his ability to organise a defence or have a plan b and do think he’d probably run his course for us.
It’s certainly possible that Bris is progression but by no means certain.
 
It was always going to be someone we'd never heard of. To be fair he's been managing in a major European league the past couple of seasons, which is a bit more than can be said with some of the suggestions others were happy with.

My feeling is the recent record of anyone coming in doesn't really matter, we won't know if they're any good until they've been given a fair crack at it.

Losing Quinn to injuries/age and Hutchinson when we did was another instance of a massive drop off with a similar squad.

Hutchinson for me has been the biggest drop off, as I thought we had a competitive team in the league. All sadly went a bit down hill after that.

Good post. But the "he won't make the signings so not a problem there" bit? ... Hmm.

All summer I've been more concerned as to whether KS will be providing whoever is appointed with the squad to work with, than the actual HC appointment.
 
One thing that still annoys me mind is the writing off of the season, really not sure this appointment makes it all worthwhile. Just angry at the owner for last season tbh

We've been chasing this french gadgie all summer and he was our number 1 choice. When we realised he'd just been relegated with his club we were even more excited to acquire his services as he'd probably cost nowt which excited kyril even more
