I'm sure it's no coincidence that nearly every French player we have signed and now this manager are represented by the same agency.![]()
Can't remember who it was, maybe Rubberface, had said we had to sign Aouchiche and Pembele as a pair

I remember when Wolves operated like that, they got promoted to the Premier League and are still there.I'm sure it's no coincidence that nearly every French player we have signed and now this manager are represented by the same agency.![]()
...and a relegation. While I had never really heard of him, he fits the brief pretty well. Over a decade as head of youth development, before transferring that experience to a good first season in management.
Like a French Dodds, but with a successful season under his belt.
Soo you wouldnt have Rob Edwards etcA relegated manager. Good times ahead.
If dodds his the assistent manager I'm finishedNot bringing the assistant if he is coming.
Dodddddsssssy![]()
Wolves were spending canny money though iirc, even tempted Ruben Neves to join them in the championshipI remember when Wolves operated like that, they got promoted to the Premier League and are still there.
Excuse's at the ready.most managers have a relagtion on their CV at some point..
Which everyone has questioned tbf. If he hadn't been a quality player under pep there's no chance he would be anywhere near it. People vent on here but will get behind him. Forum matters little really only what happens in the groundGive him a chance. Vincent Kompany relegated with Burnley and now has a job with Bayern Munich.
Thats the clincher for me,what staff if any he brings with him. Don't want Dodds anywhere near making 1st team decisions, he stinks of failure. If dodds his the assistent manager I'm finished
So. It's a situation that you can read as a positive or a negative. Its meaningless really.Wolves were spending canny money though iirc, even tempted Ruben Neves to join them in the championship
Got to admit I have no idea how Kompany going to Bayern has any bearing on us whatsoeverWhich everyone has questioned tbf. I wonder how he made the "5 man shortlist"Yes.
Hope you are right. Not at all ! Lost a host of good players and his hands tied really ...get the players in and top 6 should be the aim...
Can't remember who it was, maybe Rubberface, had said we had to sign Aouchiche and Pembele as a pair
First of all, the French top flight is some distance behind the EPL. Secondly, did he get them promoted to the top flight in his fledgling years as a coach. Third of all, has he got any experience in leading teams to trophies?Relegated from the French top flight, I thought they were relegated from ligue 2 the way some have been going on.
Be like us appointing one of the 3 managers that got relegated from the prem, which Bayern Munich did.
Chance would be a fine thing. If he’s great happy days and if he’s shite that should be speakman gone so happy days.
I would be less worried about the relegation and more concerned about the reasons stated as to why. All his best players were sold, and a bunch of big name mercenaries came in that messed up the dressing room. The manager fell out with the board and wanted to control transfers, didn't get his way, and it all went to shit....and a relegation.
That's how football works these days.I'm sure it's no coincidence that nearly every French player we have signed and now this manager are represented by the same agency.![]()
