Regis le Bris - confirmed

time to get behind him - first job is finding him a striker
Get behind tbe team and manager, yes. But personally I'd really love the support to start being vocal about the owners.and speakman. This is an awful, cheap, unambitious appointment that says everything about the owners intentions. If they aren't going to act like owners of a club that pulls in 40k each week then they should do the decent thing.

If it's him (and I hope its not) what choice do we have but to give him a chance. The alternate after all is Dodds. Just hope he'll surprise us all like Mowbray did but I don't have high expectations this season at all.
My thoughts as well really. Underwhelmed? Of course. But I was when Mowbray was rumoured then announced as well. As a supporter you’ve just got to get behind him now and hope for the best (while rightly still questioning the board and what they’ve been doing since February). Well that’s what I’ll be deeing.

That’s not uncommon is it? They knew will still was what they wanted he was by far number

They then have a list of managers who may be a good fit for SAFC based on numbers, style, career etc

You then interview the candidates and decide on who’s best. That’s how it works in every job in the world ever

Aye, but theres an expectation that the candidate will take the job, which clearly hasn't been the case here.

Seems the potentials who came and went didn't fancy the guidelines that they'd be expected to work under at the club, which looks to be the main reason why it's taken so long to get someone in.

Tbf we are literally down the pecking order now

Finally a manager, might not be who we’d hoped but ya never he could be a revelation with us

Where have you read that? What I’ve read is the total opposite.

‘His style of play seems fluid but generally favours a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 with the number 10 playing close to the striker. He seems to favour overloads on the wings, liking his full backs to be involved in attacks. But beyond that he's willing to change it up depending on the situation. It's not possession for possessions sake. His team will play it long if they see an opportunity and like to switch the play to find players in space. He likes his wingers to dribble. They aim to get them isolated in a 1v1 and then back them to win their dual’
Was in one of the articles posted earlier. A lot of the articles written are in the first few months when he first took over, when they were over performing and everything was rosy. Very little is commented from articles I've seen about their style of play after the first 4 months or so. May work out and it might actually be more entertaining to watch, but I'm uncertain given our transfer approach and his struggles the following season after selling 2 star players

Do the club really believe anyone will believe this 5 man short list since February nonsense?
More than any 5 according to my maths.
Still, Maric, Wicky, Rosenior, Heckingbotham (we know he rejected it as he wanted more of his own staff), Jansen.
The QPR and Sheffield Wed bosses and that’s not to mention Speakman’s main guy (Dodds) oh and I haven’t included the man from this post! Got to be about 9th choice that I know of and it wouldn’t surprise me if there was more.
