Regis le Bris - confirmed

For me, there were enough positives earlier in the season for him to be given another chance.

And I have little confidence in the hierarchy picking the right man next. Sack Le Bris and it will be their 6th full time appointment in the circa five years they've been in charge?
About as often as Short sacked managers then

It’s football, most clubs turnover managers regularly. We’re not special in this.

I can’t even remember the last time we played well so fair play for clinging on to some positives from yesteryear.

Over 7 months now of turgid depressing Football. Can't set us up different to exploit opponents weaknesses, it's the same whoever we play.

Got found out in his second season of French football , they found him out within half a season here.

But, as you say, superb performance to finish in the top 6.

So who’s next to become absolutely shite when they realize they’ve one hand tied behind their bac
Noticed today, Neil played forward of Bellingham then the roles were reversed in the second half. Putting my head on the block , but I do say the attack benefited slightly with Neil up front. No long balls over the top. Was Roberts put on a leash? Hopefully the manager has been trying different tactics AGAIN before the play offs

Going to take a miracle for RLB not to look like a clown.

You've sacrificed the last dozen games hoping we could magically turn it back on.

Players mindset is in a terrible place after being told to play at 50%

Squad isn’t the problem. The negative tactics are the problem. I always try and look for the positives but it’s just been getting worse every week and the style of play doesn’t suit the current squad of players we have in my opinion.

I’m hoping we turn up in the playoffs but my confidence is mostly gone.

I thought it was mental and hold my hands up at being too defensive when people said it but if we bomb out of playoffs I think we need to take a look at a head coach who is more attack minded.

The play style seems to have been changed at some point to a more negative style compared to what we saw early on. Not sure why and it’s gotten worse and worse to the point we are now toothless and can’t create anything.

I hope this is down to the manner of the games not meaning anything but at the same time we shouldn’t have to get out of second gear to win games all the time.

Ill hold my hands up and say there is concerns and I’ve been wrong to be too hasty and defensive with others when they’ve risen them

We've a chance? We could have been up but the board bottled it in January
I agree that the January transfer window was terrible, no 2 ways about it. But people can not spin the narrative now that Le Bris was a bad appointment like.

If you have asked the same people who are letting their their mouth go now after a few bad games “if we finish 4th and in the playoffs, would that be a good season?” then they would have all said yes. They’re using the last 6 games as ammunition totally ignoring the previous 40 that have lead us to our best finish since 2017 (which was bottom of the PL btw.)

If you’d asked the same people who said we were “hurtling towards relegation” before a ball was kicked if 4th place and a Premier League playoff would be a success, I’d bet they have all snapped your hand off.

I was wanting DN subbed at HT and watson on and move le fe to MF. I'm a big DN fan and I thought he had his most innefectual half of the season.
What I don't get is ...
if Le Fe isn't good enough in RLB's. opinion to replace any of our 3 midfield starters , then why loan him. He's too expensive and talented to sit on the bench and he is wasted wide left. Obviously the line up we started with today is our play off side. Le Fe imo anyway , should be starting in MF.
