I’m one of the rare Pro KLD and Pro Speakman but not allowing him (and Beale) to bring at least one staff member in is very poor. I don’t buy that neither wanted to bring anyone in with them as all managers bring someone in with them, so would be a massive coincidence if back to back our two managers didn’t

I must give KLD some credit here. The way he manages to brainwash some of our fans is sublime. Don't people remember the lies about the ownership, the humiliation of the BCB and the "We have learned from our mistakes" quote. He was never getting rid of Proctor and Dodds. RLB wont get his own back room staff. Its all lies. If KLD was old enough i swear he could have managed The Post Office. We are 6 days away from our first game and not one penny has been spent on recruitment and we don't have a striker that can score goals.

Fwiw I want RLB to bring his own staff in, he’s said it’s up to him, he says they’re looking and interviewing so if he feels whoever they’ve interviewed aren’t good enough or won’t be a good fit then fair enough.
I’ve just been part of an interview process where we interviewed candidates and after 2 weeks of deciding we decided to not take any of the candidates on as they weren’t suitable. So yes, it happens.

They are very good at this . When he was appointed after the Still debacle Romano was used to say that there would be a review of all coaching and he would be bringing multiple coaches with him . This allayed the genuine concerns that it was going to be RLB plus Dodds and Proctir . Five weeks later the messaging is changing .

In an ideal world yes everything would be in place but he’s said if the candidates they are looking at aren’t suitable then he wouldn’t hire them for the sake of it.
in an ideal world we would have our squad all done for the season too, but here we are.

Over a month these “interviews” have taken, a full pre season gone and the season starts next week. It shouldn’t be a process. He should be allowed to bring in who he wants as Beale should have, and to me both haven’t been allowed to. You might believe it’s a coincidence both didn’t want their own staff but I’m not so sureRLB has said they are looking and interviewing so how is that not being allowed to bring staff in?
He’s been an academy coach for 90% of that

But if he had no one to bring with him then who else is he going to hire? He might want staff who have experience within England and the championship?
End of the day he’s said the staffing is up to him, so let him get on with it. Some Interview processes do take a while you know to get the right candidate, you know in the real world.

Not buying that ideal world excuse. Footy doesn't work like that, and all of this could and should have been sorted before now.
But KS and RLB might be happy he's got no new backroom staff, and more than happy with Dodds and Proctor.

For this to be true they must have told RLB that he wasn't getting any additional staff, but he needs to spend weeks lying to fans and journalists about interviewing for extra staff.
