Regis Le Bris - Backroom Staff

That is why you normally bring people you have worked with.
It is very important to have the ‘right’ partnership.
Throwing two parties together like Beale and Dodds just because it suits the club’s motives was never going to end well.
I do have my concerns.

Looks like he didn’t rate anyone from his last place.
Same as in any job, people hit it off in interviews and go from there.

But normally you know someone you want. Like Keane had known a player from Nottm Forest and chose him. Never heard of doing interviews for the Assistant Manager role before, usually you just ask him for a suggestion of who he knows or would like.
People complaining about him not bringing a trusted party I’m assuming have chosen to ignore the fact RLB said himself he doesn’t have a trusted party yet since all staff were at lorient and he was promoted internally and has the ultimate final say on who comes in right

10 years at the club, I would have thought thinking of someone you want to work alongside would be easy enough. Doesn’t have to be from the first team coaching, can be reserves, youths or have known from other teams.
He has the final say, but does he have any say on who gets interviewed?
Massive difference between picking someone from A, B, C or selecting someone you rate.

And if that’s the case they will have applied for the job?

I think it's an issue that will become more evident if doesn't get sorted out before the season starts, and to be honest his chosen staff should have all been in before the first pre season match kicks off.
But I'm sure we'll get the usual suspects piling in to say it's not an issue, and Dodds/Proctor will be fine with Le Bris.

Believe they have chosen one.

Interesting event in 2019 when he was done for Drink driving. Three times over the limit

Hopefully he’ll have learnt from it, otherwise it is a recipe for disaster.
head coaches have to be allowed pick their own back room staff those are the rules on here...

Depends what option he was given, allowed to choose or given a choice of Stegeman, Dodds or Proctor?
Having the final say can be very misleading depending on the circumstances

Well it was 5 years ago and hasn't happened since.

It was confirmed at the meeting tonight that Regis was free to bring his own coaches in from France but that he prefers to appoint ones with English or Championship experience

Get a few what? Goals? Was he even getting on the bench for Hibs at the back end of last season? And if he was, did he get on the park?

He's a kid. He barely got on but unlike some of our other younger signings he is basically a youth player whom we bought because we don't have any youth strikers of that age group.

We've been playing a 17 year old in the u21s, and he's been doing really well but I bet that wasn't the plan at the start of the season. Mayenda should really be playing in that u21 team and being on the bench as a back up to the back up strikers at his age. Think Michael bridges when we had quinn, Phillips and dichio.

Or maja when we had grabban and a load of crap players who had no right to be playing ahead of maja
