They have said they are interviewing for coaches, and iirc specifically said an assistant HC. Is there anything other than paranoia leading you to assume it will be Dodds.Honestly? I’d say it’s odds on
Dodds would suit Speaky down to the ground. Regis first big test is saying no to this! They have said they are interviewing for coaches, and iirc specifically said an assistant HC. Is there anything other than paranoia leading you to assume it will be Dodds.
When it hasn’t even been proposed, except for people making assumptions on here?Dodds would suit Speaky down to the ground. Regis first big test is saying no to this!
Jobs open for applications he might have applied? His current job title is Assistant Head Coach ya nar. When it hasn’t even been proposed, except for people making assumptions on here?
I wonder if it’s the same people who said he was “nailed on” to get the top job….until he didn’t.
reggie le bris...he has the final say on who comes in and is interviewing people now..

Makes no Dodds, Speakman will have the final say
The club are saying Le Bris has the final say.I never saw that like. Seemed to say specifically that they were interviewing for a set piece coach and a conditioning coach which does concern me. If Dodds ends up as his Assistant we will continue to go backwards not forward and will prove that Speakman has far to much say in first team matters. Hope I am wrong though.

Anyway what if Le Bris rates Dodds and wants him as his assistant? If that's the case then it's fine by me.
I’m trying to not get frustrated about the fact we’re a month away from the start of the season, don’t have the back room sorted yet and haven’t got new players in the door. Support for RLB will evaporate very quickly if we start the season poorly.Whilst I appreciate Speakman’s sentiment that we are actively recruiting, it’s frustrating going into pre season without an established coaching team to help the players hit the ground running.
We don't. You are guessingIf this happens a lot of people will say it is Beale all over again and nothing has been learnt and nothing has changed.
We know that Dodds is nothing more than Speakman’s puppet so it would be a disaster if he was in the Assistant Manager role, a role he previously did bad in.
Cheery you mindI’m trying to not get frustrated about the fact we’re a month away from the start of the season, don’t have the back room sorted yet and haven’t got new players in the door. Support for RLB will evaporate very quickly if we start the season poorly.

Think RLB will be given a lot of slack - the finger will be pointed at Speaky and Doddsy.I’m trying to not get frustrated about the fact we’re a month away from the start of the season, don’t have the back room sorted yet and haven’t got new players in the door. RlB didn't want to bring anyone with him. His choice, not the Clubs, ergo we need new back room staff.Would’ve thought he’d already know which coaches and assistants to bring with him. Do managers usually advertise for roles and interview people? May be common practice but it’s not how I would ever envisage it happening
Mowbray and Beale were the permanent head coach. Dodds was in interim charge. No guessing about it. It is crystal clear that Dodds is KS’s blue eyed boy.
Mowbray - overall did quite well - sacked
Beale - didn’t do good at all - sacked
Dodds - by far the worst of them all - still here.
I am ok with Dodds remaining as a coach but if he remains as Assistant Manager after the way the club were rapidly heading back to Division One under his leadership, then we are going into the season without fixing the problems of last season.
If Dodds does end up as assistant then it’s certainly convenient…I never saw that like.
