The Premier League hate us - Pawson, Gillett and Attwell in successive games, All we need now is England against Brighton for a full set of clueless knackers.

Port Vale v Sunderland FA Cup

Referee: Anthony Taylor
Assistants: Gary Beswick, Adam Nunn
Fourth official: Ben Toner
VAR: Michael Salisbury
Assistant VAR: Peter Wright
Hadn’t even realised but VAR in play for 5th round at Vale Park. Had assumed it would only be at PL grounds but fair do if it is in use at all games. Will be a new experience for Port Vale, didn’t need it for Wycombe play-off final, the mere fact it was available curtailed the normal Wycombe wrestling and dark arts

How does this work with funding then? I'm sure previously the reason lower league sides didn't use var was because the cost to install was too much the further down the league you go? Who will have paid for the tech to be installed then?

Wonder if the FA just withhold an element of their prize money

Not seen any detail but suspect it will be related to every game being televised so guess the only extra is the ref monitor to review anything that ref has to reconsider. Anything extra would be a temporary install and maybe covered by the FA to ensure the integrity and fairness of the competition as it gets to the pointy end.
