Redditors gave Wall Street traders an absolute pasting

not really sure about the personal insult like, bit harsh no?

if you read back I think you'll find I was assessing your ability to understand a simple point rather fairly la

if you were serious in actually misunderstanding my point then you are genuinely so foolish you should not be allowed out on your own, I assumed you were being deliberately provocative in pretending to be really really stupid

so pick your poison, but don't complain after you have asked for it

Fair enough but he will still be a very rich person if he sells now.

Interesting to see the endgame now. Can see the volumes traded yesterday were very small - seems the hedge funds are selling to each other trying to drive the price right back down. Also there has been a hell of a lot of misinformation in the press about this over the last few days - more hedge fund manipulation of the market??

Wonder who will blink first? Reddit or the hedge funds?
Sorry? hedge funds are selling to each other to make the price go down?
not really necessary though. why you trying to derail the thread anyway?

lots of retail investors clearly
Literally added zero. In fact input has been negative.

if you mean responding to your asinine posts which are deliberately stupid and off topic I will gladly ignore you from now on ;)

if this is how finance fat cats carryon on their business; just making stuff up out of spite and then making up stats based on nonsense, it is no wonder they were so vulnerable is it really la?

Shush dear. You're out of your depth and just creating a distraction.

well you're right, I'd not feel at all comfortable just making stuff up out of spite and then basing stats on that and claiming it is an absolute, mostly out of shame

I'm quite comfortable with depth being of normal height.

The main guy who chucked $53k in is still in - sitting on $35m from his initial investment. I dont think I could see that and not withdraw and fuck off to the bahamas or somewhere.
The type of person who has $53k to throw away for fun doesn't strike me as 'the little guy' everyone is making these Redditors out to be. How do you know he's still all in? How do you know he hadn't invested another $100k and cashed out?
Would you believe anyone on this thread if they told you that tale?

Ah we're resorting to insults now as you are clearly out of your depth. Nobody has made anything up. Again however you've derailed a thread (yet again) to make it about you.

Take your nasty comments and do us all a favour and fuck off out of the thread and leave the adults to it.

Must admit, I didn't understand how that works. Its still a sell and a buy in a pair, no?
If someone is selling and someone is buying the net effect will be almost zero spending on who crosses the spread. Selling stock to each other won't be moving the price nor will it serve any purpose other than raise red flags and incur transaction costs.

I'm responding to your insults and condescending posts.

I'm not sure you're even joking, you just expect to bully and silence women etc

well, I don't think that is a realistic forecast for you in this scenario ;) ;)
pot kettle right there
on topic I see

Here ya go, good old /wallstreetbets ethical users sticking it to the man..

I am beginning to think we did get played. maybe slv was the ticket to the moon.

level 1

I made my money, on to the next play.

Yes this is brutal and illustrates why you shouldn't use reddit from investment advice, especially not this subreddit.

level 2

The trick is getting into meme stocks in an early phase, and sell when the average Joe piles into it.
It is exactly what I did with GME.

LMAO so many salty bagholders

I do wonder who's sold enough shares while the market has been closed in order to take GME from $250 to $150 though. Obviously that's not retail shareholders.

Anything to add here about the collapse of the stock that has left retail buyers long at the top here or just going to keep posting smilies and insults as that is all you have now.
I was waiting for that bloke who knows about it to come back and am reading snippets on twitter etc just following it and wondering how it will end and what it really have comprised, just enjoying the natural progression of it all

sorry if this is upsetting for you, but perhaps you can counselling for that
