Hi all, my lad wants a 32" gaming monitor for use with his Xbox Series S. Wants a high refresh rate so he can play Fortnite etc. at 120fps. Anyone recommend a reasonable priced one, I.e. £400 ish?

Cheers all.

The series S outputs at 2k and 120 hz. Anything more than that is a waste.

If it must be 32 inch then something like this would do a good job:
https://amzn.eu/d/5FJPzQT
Specs-
Dell G3223D 31.5 Inch QHD (2560x1440) Gaming Monitor, 165Hz, Fast IPS, 1ms, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, G-SYNC Compatible, 95% DCI-P3, HDR 400, USB-C, DisplayPort, 2x HDMI, 2x USB, 3 Year Warranty

However, if you drop to 27 inches you will have many more options at a cheaper price point. On a desk with a chair, 27 inches is more than enough. It’s what I prefer.

Edit:

Bought myself this the other month and it’s bang on for the money. The picture quality os class and the base stand is sturdy with height and tilt function, loads of other monitors have shite stands and you need to fork out extra dollar for a 3rd party stand. Use it on my PS5 and the specs seem to match up to what current consoles can manage, basiclly 1440p @ 160 hz. Once you want full 4K at high refresh rates the price grows exponentially

HP omen 32 inch
