Really minor annoyances

Can`t remember if I said this earlier but I was watching the Live Aid thing last night and it showed a crowd shot of the American show and this bloke clapping along totally out of time.

How hard is it to clap in time with a 4/4 bloody beat. Does my noggin in at gigs watching people clapping not even off the beat but slightly off, the off beat 😤.

While I`m on - those lasses at gigs that insist on spending the whole time standing right in front of you pointing and flapping their pointy finger towards the stage

It`s like a ginger bread man but made out of bread - probably.
There's a brilliant clip somewhere, IIRC of Harry Connick junior, where the crowd is on the off beat, so he just adjusts what he's playing so they're on beat. I hate how people can't keep time. You've heard music you're entire life and not been paying attention?
Sorry if already covered but 'easy peel' packets. They should be fined for telling absolute lies.
They are technically correct. The corner tab pedals off no bother. It just doesn't stay attached to the rest of it.

There's a clip of Billy Joel telling the audience how much he and the band appreciate their participation and enthusiasm but please for the love of God don't try to clap in time coz you're all really bad at it.

Everything OK love?

Haha, yeah. Well sort of mostly.

My own fault for browsing FB. Just tired of young people moaning about not having enough money and doing fuck all to change the situation.

Obviously I've got sympathy for genuine deprivation or real struggles.

Just grinds my gears folk whining about not having spare 100s every month when you know they do barely any graft. Who'd be driving the HGVs at 4am or lifting boxes in a warehouse if you could stand by the self-service tills in Tesco and live the good life? We'd all be doing that instead. Like, I'd love to just loll about and chat in a supermarket, occasionally helping when someone's peas don't scan in straight away. Obviously do it with a f***ing eye-roll and sad face and make it look like they've greatly inconvenienced me. Clearly I'd deserve a detached house and hundreds a month going into an ISA for that effort.

I'd seriously do that if my spatial awareness wasn't utterly shite. I can barely park my little car. Got a mate who's done that and you can make decent money and pretty much work the hours you need. ie. Little or a lot.

Money is one of the few things in life I don't complain about. It's there if you really need it and most of the shite you buy you don't really need. Been on UC before and the rent was paid and there was food in the cupboards. Younger generations are just f***ing spoiled and I'm a grumpy oldish man.

Its a pretty stressful job tbh. I'm in awe of them when I see them turning into some of the industrial estates to deliver. As another poster mentioned Spatial awareness is vital. Wages aren't great and neither are the hours however there does seem to be a shortage and I know a few lads who have gone into it later on in life.
Easier ways to earn beer money I think
