Really minor annoyances

Having a massive spot on your bot and you like to sit down a lot
You need a professional boil sucker. I knew one once went to see a woman who had a big boil on part of her pussy. No problem says the boil sucker, I'll get rid of it for you. And down he goes. Hes been on for 3 or 4 minutes and she lets out a massive wet fart. Up he gets and says 'I'm off missus. If theres one thing I cant stand, its filth'.

Power adapters having unimportant or obvious details printed in large print like "MADE IN CHINA" and "POWER ADAPTER" in case you mistook it for a Terry's Chocolate Orange, an Aardvark or a 2 week holiday to Corfu, while the voltage and amps are printed in type so small you have to get your phone out and zoom in, to make sure you don't use the wrong one and fry whatever you're plugging it into.

People stopping in yellow boxes at junctions meaning that when traffic lights change no one can get through.
I did that in York yesterday (driving round an unfamiliar, busy city is my excuse). I was Red faced waving and mouthing sorry, people were understanding except for one torn faced fella who scowled, did that pointy hand gesture thing italiand do. I just laughed at him.

When they call ‘K-Pop’ a ‘musical genre’, when it’s simply pop music made by people from Korea.

(Please don’t throw ‘British Invasion’ at me, because that was never described as a separate ‘genre’. I’ll give you ‘Brit-Pop’ however; for the same reason as the term ‘K-Pop’ irritates me)

I’m just realising that I’m also irritated when the musical genre in my iTunes comes up with stuff like ‘Indie’ (what? it’s a musical genre because it was released on an independent label? What’s that you say? It wasn’t! But it’s still ‘indie’) or ‘alternative’… (alternative to what other genre of music exactly?)

People who take up more space than required, without seemingly having a thought for other people. Leaving phones or drinks bottles on gym equipment while they use another piece of equipment or while looking at CD's putting your other arm across most of the other CD's. Bloke looked geninly surprised when I asked him if I could get in and have a look.

Lack of awareness, Ignorance, entitlement or stupidity, or a combination of all four.

I don’t know what it is about my viewing history that makes the internet think I’m a cretin, but I’m recently getting links on my News apps pointing me to articles with headlines like “People are only just realising why…” and the article reveals something so obvious that previous undiscovered tribes in the Amazonian jungle that have had no contact with the civilised world, probably already knew it.

This is the most recent.

The headline on the main page reads “People are only just realising what the name Van Halen means after 52 years”

There’s no way I’m opening that story.

People who park at the entrance to neighbourhood shops entirely blocking the entrance for everyone else because they are too bone idle to park in one of the 50 free spaces 10 feet away and walk to the shop.
Worse when they drive onto the wrong side of the road and abandon their cars. That shop in springwell village is notorious for this. Used to drive that way for work.

It’s so prevalent that it’s now becoming unnoticeable but now that I have noticed, I’m know I’m going to notice it again - that’s how the brain works. And when I think about it even slightly, it becomes a very minor annoyance.

What am I talking about?: When a tv journalist reports from the scene where something has happened, like a speech, an announcement etc., and whilst they are telling us, and quoting directly, what someone has just said, there’s background or inserted film of the that very same person actually saying it.

They also interrupt a broadcast of a live event to inform us all what’s happening - whilst we’re actually watching and listening to it happening.

The arrogance of younguns that grew up in the Participation Medal era. You'd grudgingly accept it if they were clever ***** that were going far in life, but it's the cocksure swaggering 'know-it-all by 25' pricks that are f***ing losing and don't accept it that grate.

I looked up to anyone a few decades older than me, regardless of social standing, on the understanding they'd had greater life experience and acquired knowledge you don't get through books, internet or telly. Not these days tho. Sure of everything. Supreme confidence despite being f***ing mediocre. Years of school getting patted on the heed told they were wonderful even if they failed. Generation of delusional hubris.
