Really minor annoyances

When the metal bit on a coat hanger doesn’t move so you can’t hang it over your wardrobe door

I’m annoyed by coat hangers in general. Bloody things get entangled with each other for no apparent reason.

But in relation to your annoyance, a firm twist usually snaps a bit of plastic which stops it from rotating, but not enough to break it fully.

People who use acronyms but then demonstrate they don’t know what they mean by saying PCB board or PAT testing

PAT testing is a funny one. You can't say PATing as that's something you'd do to a dog. If you were to say PA testing, people would think you were testing a PA system (one two, one two). If you were to say "portable appliance testing", it would be a mouthful. People know what PAT testing is, even if they don't know what the letters stand for.
Buying a bird feeder designed for small birds to thwart the jackdaws, only to find the noisy bastards can still manage to eat from it.

I put mine right in the thick of a bush that only the small birds can get to. You get scratched to death filling it, but it has the desired effect.
