The default action by outlook to delete a meeting request.

I now need to check deleted items or calendar for the details of the meeting rather than the actual meeting request.

You can change that in settings somewhere, I did.

Mostly it is fine when they disappear, but when you have a load of documents attached, that gets annoying.

In a similar vein, when cars turning right across traffic don't use the box/lane (when there is one) properly, and you end up stuck behind them in the lane they've blocked
Boils my piss, same when there's a wide road but the car stays right in the middle to turn right, leaving no space for you to get past and go left. People end up queuing for no reason

I hate people who block when motorways split. The A1(m)/A194 at Washington is a great example. Two lanes to continue up the A1(m), blocked because of roadworks. So people decide they are too important to queue, pull out into the lane for the A194 (and I have seen people stationary in the queue suddenly pull out), get to the very last moment before the road splits and stop, indicating to be back in, 40 cars ahead.

At that point, most of the drivers who have actually queued think "screw you" and will not let them in, which is reasonable. But now the people who didn't want to wait make everyone wanting to use the A194 wait for them, again because they are more important. Not fine for them to wait in roadworks but absolutely fine to cause massive tailbacks for other people because they are being a complete tit.

Or a car turning right issue. There is a T junction onto a main road where I live and regularly need to pull out from, and there is a small box lane for cars waiting to turn right into the minor road I'm trying to pull out from. What they should do is get as far forward in that lane so they are directly in front of the car pulling out, turning immediately. What a surprising number of people do is wait about 40 yards back from this, way to my left, so when a gap in the traffic appears, they trundle forward and then slowly make their turn. That means I can't pull out and turn right or if there is a car behind them they can't get turned before the gap closes, and we all wait for the next gap.

I've been waiting months for an appointment after referral to a specialist about a health issue. I got a phone call from the hospital yesterday saying a consultant had looked at my notes and he wanted to speak to me. I arranged a phone call this afternoon.

He rang and said I've been referred to the wrong department. He told me the correct department. He can't transfer me and said I need to go back to the GP and request a new referral to the correct department.

I've rang the GP. The receptionist cannot take details of this over the phone. I have to fill in a online e-consult and explain what has happened, only all the online spaces are full today so it's currently offline. I've got to try logging on at 8am tomorrow morning, but it might take a few goes as they only have limited slots and the website gets overloaded. If I get on and find it's full, I just have to keep trying every day until I manage to fill a form in. I did ask why she couldn't take the details over the phone and was told "this is our new way of working".

Once the GP has looked at it, I'll hopefully get referred but I'll have to wait several months again for an appointment with correct department.
