Realistic replacements

Right now I’d do no more than find a caretaker. Give it to Bally for a bit. I don’t want Donald appointing a manager - particularly before the takeover. Once the new lads get here (please god) the first job should be to appoint the best director of football we can find. Only then should we think about a replacement manager. I honestly think this season is done. We should use the time to get ourselves set up properly.
Good shout.

He was an absolute disaster at Stoke. Utterly appalling. Spent loads of money on shite, totally arrogant, hated by the fans. He hasn’t really done a good job since Birmingham and that was years ago.

All about opinions but you might be right. He was well spoken about when at Birmingham highly rated at that level. Well spoke of in the media at the time. But done very little of late. But one thing for certain anyone would be better than JR.

Yes

stevo’s gone quiet
What i was correct about is the last 9 games youve won none stuffed in 6 of them, and in 2 of the three draws you needed last few minutes goals to save ya skin. The last one mitrovic saved rafas fairly substantial bacon

As long as they have a plan a and stick to it for a run of games I don’t mind who comes in. Ross is just so far out of his depth here it’s f***ing embarrassing. I just want the bloke gone.

Surely not. As bad as it’s been so far we somehow remain just four points off 2nd place.
All we need is to identify a competent experienced L1 manager, get him in now and I’m convinced we can still go up automatically this season.

Isn’t ‘Bally’ absolutely shite every time he steps in as caretaker?

He overseen a home 4-1 derby defeat, man.

I think there’s fundamental issues with the squad. We lack pace and incisiveness in the final third and energy in midfield. I’d also be very concerned with trying to blast things through with a short term appointment to get us over the line. It would do us damage in the long run.
Yes
He should be nee where near the job

Generally improves things a bit - albeit they’re usually dreadful if he being brought in. My concern is that there doesn’t appear to be a natural caretaker anywhere at the club any more. Dickman is certainly no Stockdale. And while it’s time for Ross to go, I don’t want a permanent replacement in until we’ve started sorting out the football side of the club. There’s no way I want Hill, Coton and Donald appointing a new manager.

I'd rather Proctor was given it short term

How true was the report that BSA wanted to come back to manage us? If true, then there's no contest, whatever it takes bring him in. He won't drop down to League One to manage us some have said on here, how do you know? Has he been asked? We should move heaven and earth to get the bassa back here.

They weren't. He was reported as acting as a football consultant for FPP, but with no interest in managing us or anyone else.
