I wanted to see nottingham through as hales and lumb when they get going are a cracking opening pair.

My worry with Notts is the money (I seem to perceive) they have to attract players. I'd hate to lose any of our lads to them. So having them out of finals days is fine by me.

I don't like Essex because of Nasser's Bopara/Napier love in on Sky

Yes but they are from the midlands and south west group, apparently the south division counties are starting to kick up a bit of a fuss about it. Scott Syris who is playing for Sussex this year reckons al the southern teams would qualify first or second if they played in either of the other two divisions.
