Bumped into Colly in the bogs at Newcastle Arena at The Killers concert IIRC. Poured Ian Botham a glass of wine when he officially launched a company I used to work for (he was good friends with the owner).

We were heading to Leicester for the match and he was heading back to London to watch Chelsea.

The previous night he's done a sportsman's dinner for South Shields CC.

Went into a hotel in Lancaster where I was staying for a training course. Walked into the bar to see Beefy and Lamby sitting at the bar. They were there to do a talk via satellite link to Australia for a 'this is your life' equivalent for Allan Border.
