Ram by Paul McCartney

I have no idea but "Monkberry Moon Delight" is music from the God of Music :)

Your misplaced idolatry towards him is saddening. He's about as rock & roll and edgy as
as an Angel Delight smoothie.[/QUOTE]

Rock and roll doesn't have to be edgy to be good, it helps, but it isn't an obligation. Anyway, isn't "edgy" subjective?
Bullshit. You are Chris Martin, one of them Mumfords or that haunted chewing gum fyassed sexcase from Keane. Where's me 5 quid?
Rock & Roll is by definition edgy. If it isn't edgy it isn't rock & roll, it becomes pop, folk, soul, jazz, lounge, reggae, prog or easy listening. I'm not disparaging all the genres above, I could pick some of my favourite tunes from every one but without an edge rock isn't rock.

The Rolling Stones rule.
Our lass didn't like The Beatles as she rebelled against always being told how class they were. I spent time playing loads of their songs she'd never heard to show her how skilled they were at Blues, R&B, Rock & Roll etc. and how they had really earned their chops. Afterwards we moved onto the Stones. Anyway, the upshot of it was that we learned that I prefer The Stones.
