Wish we'd just appointed (championship experienced) Nigel Pearson instead. Benitez's lack of knowledge of this league is clearly a millstone.

The squad is massive compared to everyone elses. The test will cime next summer when you need to shift loads of players on decent money in order to buy "next level" players.

Yes I'm not saying he hasn't done very well selling players but it's no surprise you are top of the league you already had players at the club shelvey Perez lascelles gouffron etc who are very good championship players added to that the money he has spent compared to most championship managers.

Just look at the Norwich manager he has done just a good a job with less money to spend
