Rafa will not do anything at Newcastle that increases that £6m release clause.

He is basically an uneasy employee and you get the impression that they are only one bad conversation away from parting.

I think he genuinely likes being Newcastle manager but can't stand Ashley and would leave if the right 'project' came along.

To be honest it was the board, then Pardew, then Carver, then Tufty, and so on.


I wouldn't judge a manager on one season from his longer tenure. That's cherry picking, and futile. I'd take into account his entire career at the club, his career before and after, his behaviour, his team's performances and so on.

Had Pardew only been in charge for that one season, and hadn't acted the ****, you may have had a point.

I wasn't judging him on one season I would have thought that the finishing 5th and not being relegated comment might have suggested so, but hey ho.

I was merely stating cold hard facts, nowt to do with his persona or any other view clouding nonesense, statistically hes the best manager Newcastle have had in years.

Now tell me I'm wrong about that :confused:
