where would you rather live and work? not as a newcastle fan but as a top European manager.. as you you all profess he is.. honest answer..

How come Pep etc are outside of London? People go where the cash is best. His family live in the Wirral he isn't arsed about London.

London, Newcastle centre and quayside is as good as anywhere in the uk though and far from a dive like you lot seem to think

I can vouch for this I'm beside the college and it' gradually getting worse , that pipe smoking gaff where they have to press a code to get in is rife with young lads and lasses constantly

I agree they are. What city dosent have bad parts though? The city centre and quayside is as good as it gets for a city in the UK

While since Ive been but doesn't sound like a Shithole.

"In a surprise move, the Rough Guide to 2018 has announced the UK city of as the number one place that should be on travellers’ radars.

It beat out stiff competition, including , which is the 2018 European Capital of Culture.

Rough Guides says 2018 is “Newcastle’s time to shine.”

The entry continues: “Next summer the city – along with neighbouring Gateshead – will host the Great Exhibition of the North, a two-month jamboree that will tell the story of Northern England and how its artists and innovators have helped shape the world we live in. Expect live music, performance art and insightful exhibitions at some wonderful venues.”
It also commends Geordies’ friendliness and compliments the city’s lively nightlife, burgeoning restaurant scene, quality of museums and its architectural highlights, such as the Tyne Bridge.

Finally, Rough Guides recommends Newcastle for being “friendly on the wallet”.

I was walking into town from work through the west end and some bloke pulled up, wound his window down and told me to fuck off. Never seen the bloke in my life

everywhere has it shitholes, you have just picked out the bad examples to suit yaself, the shop you mention is a one specific to selling yesterdays unsold stock, many folk who go there cant afford decent stuff, taking the piss out of that is poor but no unexpected........so you think Newcastle is a shithole eh? would you like me to argue that point?

You been to London? Large parts of it is f***ing awful. Look at the recent rise in crime.

While I agree and wouldn't want to live there as a normal bloke on a normal wage getting by.

However surely you can see that as a multi-millionaire in their 20's that would be completely different as they only have to see the flash bits, they would rather live in the capital where most things to do with money are based. Especially coming from outside the UK.

This means he can have a bit more pulling power with players if this is added in with more money for transfers he might have his head turned. So personally he doesn't give a fuck but can see why London would be a pull to managers.

Oh ffs depressed me self again thinking about how much easier them teams have it down there when looking at players, it's why we for one have been paying over inflated wages for years.
